Albania is located in southeastern europe. The total land area is 11,100 square miles. Albania is bordered by Montenegro, Serbia, Mcedonaia, Greece, the Artic Sea and the Ionian Sea. The climate is temperate mediterranean. During the winter Albania is prone to cyclones.

Flag: The Albanian flag is a red flag, with a sillhouetted black double headed eagle in the center. In the middle ages the eagle was used for multiple puroposed by several royal families in Albania and later became the symbol of the Albanian people. The double headed eagle did not become famous until a revoultuion agianst the Ottoman Empire in 1443-1478 which was lead by one of the Kastrioti's whose coat of arms was a double headed eagle in a feild of red.
